Pods

One of the primary ways for players to obtain essence, which is used to upgrade and craft new cards, is through pods. It's important to note that pods only contain essence and do not drop cards. However, players can use the essence obtained from pods to craft new cards.

Pods are available in two different versions: Virus and SUPACell, and they come in 5 different rarities and 7 different mutation/affinity types. This allows players to choose the type of pod they want to redeem using their Mutation Points, based on the type of card essence they're looking for. For example, if a player opens an RD Virus Basic Pod, they can expect to receive essence for RD Virus cards. Likewise, if they open a WH SUPACell Rare Pod, they can expect to receive essence for WH SUPACell cards.

Each pod has 3 slots for essence which varies in rarity…

To redeem pods, players need Mutation Points. The number of Mutation Points required for a pod depends on the pod's rarity and type. Some pods may require more than just Mutation Points for redemption. Once a player redeems a pod, the essence received from that pod can be used to upgrade or craft cards. Although players cannot trade essence directly, they have the option to list their pods for sale on the marketplace, allowing other players to purchase them.
